Introducing Prepaid Fuel Cards From Big Island Energy Company!
Take advantage of Big Island Energy Company’s low fuel prices without a membership!
Stop in our Hilo or Kona office and ask at the front counter for a Prepaid Card. You can load any dollar amount and pay by cash, check or credit/debit card. When you want to fuel, stop in our office and we will scan your card. When you finish fueling, we will deduct the dollar amount on your receipt from your prepaid card balance. You can add funds at anytime.
Load a prepaid card with any dollar amount. We deduct from your card balance every time you fuel. Reload your card when needed. It’s easy and free! There is no charge or hidden fees when using our prepaid cards. Ask at the front counter about security options to prevent unauthorized usage of your prepaid card.
Poor credit keeping you from applying for a Big Island Energy Company membership? Using our prepaid cards allows you to purchase fuel at our cardlock fueling facility without a credit application.
Using our prepaid fuel cards is a great way to budget your fuel spending. Prepaid cards start with a zero balance and must be loaded with cash before being used for purchases. When the card’s balance drops to zero again, you can’t use it until you load more funds onto the card. That makes it easy to load the card with only the funds you need to cover your weekly or monthly expenses, and reduce the risk of overspending.
